SATB VOICING NEW FOR 2019!
STARTER SERIES - A swinging, fun blues chart written to be accessible for developing vocal jazz ensembles! This arrangement is based on Frank Foster's arrangement of Morgan Ames' original composition written to feature Diane Schuur on a 1987 Grammy-Winning album with the Count Basie Orchestra. The chart features a female vocalist who can deliver a lyric with soul, and it leaves some space for improvisation anywhere in your group. A solid opener or closer, the chart varies between unison/octaves and well-voiced three and four-part chords that will provide both challenge and variety for younger jazz choirs.
Notated piano and bass parts, drums
ISO PACKS available for this chart!
Iso Packs were created for individual use, rather than groups, and were inspired by the necessary personal isolation (social distancing) caused by the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic. To learn more about these inexpensive and fun packs, and to see the full current collection of titles with Iso Packs available (which will be regularly expanding, including most newly added titles going foward), CLICK HERE.
Special note about the Iso Packs for "Deedles' Blues":
Whereas most Iso Packs include two types of Minus-One Tracks (one including the solo parts and one without), those for this title only contain the tracks that DO have the solo included.
