This arrangement of one of the great jazz standards is irreverent and highly contemporary, with intense modal reharmonization and driving rhythm section accompaniment. The melody is sung wordlessly first, then the lyric enters, followed by a solo section, then a complete reworking of the first part of the melody leading into a D.S. and a drum solo over a vamping end.
